Pencil-colored drawings, some were even colored by my friend Jay, like the hooded person and probably the scared girl... well I was pretty happy with them when it came to their positions and some shadings... that's how I draw and color most of my drawings... only now I've been trying to use others since pencil-colors didn't give a realistic enough effect. I wanted to look for something more smooth where u can't tell it was actually colored and most importantly... without much effort!! Otherwise my drawings'll last hours.. I've tried doing that with water colors... like some down there... but again there's a problem... now I have a different idea which I will try soon. Somethin I should've thought of before.... lol... if you knew "Jay Jay" you'll kill me! I'm pretty positive! Well.... keep a look out... and hope u liked these :)
loool..jay jay saw them hun... she worked on them with me... ignore the background, I did it..lol.. and they're not water colors, they're also pencil... just a different brand from what Jay was usin. 3ashan ukhtish il-karima was usin the same paper to test the colors before applying them, spoiling the whole paper,lol... I just wanted to cover the damage :p
vio, u can also tell jay, that the oily pencil colors I've been usin on felix and all the other characters... could actually also be used as water oil colors :p :p... which gave out a fabulous result without much effort..... I'll show u soon ... but please tell her not to bite after all this! lol :S
I think you should try using paints, you wont get those lines which you do with pencils , and the whole drawing will look smooth and more professional. of course you have to know how to color using paints ( I'd recomend poster colors ) in order to get good results.
however..those were lovely , the door in the third one looks real good.
hala Nabs!... poster colors eh? I guess I tried them long ago and messed up my whole carpet :os... never used them since.. but now that I'm older I think I'll manage... thanx for the advice, it's worth a try :D lol, the door was somethin I was soo not bothered to do... it turned out good then? .. thanx for the compliments :D
