Is Pencil Enough?

I've taken to drawing sketches now adays... I know I've almost mastered this technique long ago... but going back to it feels good... since I feel like my coloring needs improving still.
Well... it's never been enough for me... I always wanted my drawings colored... but for some odd reason my sketches always turn out better.
I'll need to take coloring courses...seriously... to be able to color the drawings without making them lose their quality.

well... the above's what I've done throughout this month... :) hope you like them.

I have to say that I'm really loving your pencil illustrations especially that first one you displayed here..Although you still have quite a long way to go before really mastering the technique..the pencil strokes have to be more together and smoother but I would say you're 70% over there already. Keep it up. ;)

I hate you. This is my favorite style of drawinf by hand, I thought I was pretty good until I saw the first one in this post - the guy with the lance, it is without a doubt the best and PERFECT art work I ahev saw from you.

Your sketch illustrations are extremely well done. Perhaps these are just your best but I don't see where you need much improvement. Art is a very abstract subject, techniques and perfection mean different things to different artists. It would be best for you to follow your own idea, keeping your uniqueness rather than attempt to follow another's ideas.

most of the known artists have been inspired by others. True, I agree art could mean different things to different people... and I'm really glad you think my drawings can't get any better... but you'll be surprised with how much it could actually be improved... it all started with me observing others. That never affected my style. I will always have my style, and yet, my style will be improved by what I learn from others... not because I copy... but because I use their techniques to improve my own...

I've learnt a lot after I joined certain forums and sites... and that from skilled artists... if you look at my previous drawings you'll see what I mean.
thanx for commenting anonymous :)...I'm glad you liked them :)

Add My Voice To Those Who Were In Love With The First One :).

And About Improving, To Improve Is To Imagine In The Creative Side, And To Perform From Time To Time.
